Tamang Heritage Trail is newly developed trekking route in the Nepal Himalaya, which is one of the nearest trekking destination from Kathmandu (1300m).The trial in this were used by traders from Nepal and Tibet , who used to trade between Nepal and Tibet  as in ancient period Salt, Gold and many daily household items were used to come from Tibet. The people from here are mostly Tibetan, across the border who migrants long –time ago and changed their ethnicity to Tamang. The culture and tradition of these people are similar to Tibetan just across the border.

Tamang Heritage Trial is newly developed track between Langtang and Ganesh Himal, which highlight an ancient lifestyle of Tamang combining with attractive scenery and healing baths in natural hot springs. Local Tamang people are some of the warmest, sincere and most welcoming people in Nepal. En-route you enjoy the panoramic mountain views of the nearby peaks and soak in the Natural Hot Spring at Tatopani.
